This policy describes how the Pinch app ("the app") collects, uses, and protects user data. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
The data controller is the developer of Pinch. For any request regarding your data, you can write to lofipixwear@gmail.com.
Sign-in is exclusively via Google Sign-In. From Google we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo, used to identify you within shared groups.
We collect the content you create using the app: list items, shopping lists, purchase history, the groups you belong to, any nicknames, and your personal preferences (language, ordering, notification settings). This data is associated with your account and shared with the other members of the group(s) you belong to.
If you enable notifications, we store the push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) associated with your device, in order to send you the reminders you have chosen to receive.
The app displays advertisements via Google AdMob. For this purpose, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier and related technical data for ad delivery and measurement. You can remove ads by purchasing the ad-free version, where available.
The Google Firebase services the app relies on may automatically collect technical data (for example, device information and diagnostic data) to ensure the operation, security, and stability of the service.
We do not sell your personal data. We rely on the following providers, who process data on our behalf or as joint controllers:

Data is stored on Google Firebase / Google Cloud servers and protected with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to a group's data is limited to the authenticated members of that group.
We retain your data for as long as you maintain an active account. When you leave a group, your connection to that group is removed. You can request full deletion of your data as described below.
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to access your data, rectify it, request its deletion, restrict or object to its processing, and request its portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

To request deletion of your account and associated data, send an email to lofipixwear@gmail.com from the address you use to sign in to the app. We will delete your personal data within a reasonable time, subject to any applicable legal obligations.
Pinch is not intended for children and requires a Google account, whose use is subject to Google's age requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy over time. Changes will be published on this page along with the revised update date.
